Terms & Conditions

I bought my Cygnett product...

from a retail store

You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Cygnett warrants this product against defects in workmanship and material for a period of two years from its original purchase date. You must present your receipt as proof of date of purchase for warranty validation. 

How to make a warranty claim:

As a wholesaler, Cygnett does not process replacements or refunds directly to the customer. Please contact the retailer/store/reseller you bought the product from for a replacement or refund if the product is faulty.

Would you like to return a product you purchased online? We offer a replacement/refund on any products purchased directly from www.cygnett.com.

You may return any products if you are dissatisfied for a full refund or replacement product to the same value. To be eligible for a full refund on the purchased product the item must be returned within 30 days of the original order being placed.

Returns Checklist

  1. Re-pack all shipped items you received, including manuals, accessories

  2. Make sure you include a copy of the purchasing invoice; without the purchasing invoice we cannot process your return. This invoice can be located in 2 places:
    • In the confirmation email you received from Cygnett shortly after you purchased the product.
    • Or in your cygnett.com account

  4. If you are returning a product purchased from the Cygnett.com online store, we highly recommend that you use a registered/trackable shipping method. Cygnett will not be liable for products that are damaged or lost on their return journey to Cygnett. Cygnett cannot refund products that are not returned.

Refund Policy

Cygnett offer refunds for online purchases only at www.cygnett.com. Cygnett does not refund purchases made from other point of sale e.g. retailers, alternate online stores, etc.

Soon after Cygnett has received the returned item (the timing is subject to the senders shipping method, usually 7-10 working days) Cygnett will refund the amount (minus costs related to the original purchase which are non-refundable) to the original credit card used to purchase goods. Non-defective Cygnett products will not be refunded that are received more than 30 days after the date of original purchase. Neither will Cygnett provide a refund on a product that is damaged due to misuse, mishandling, accident, absence of care, abuse or other abnormal use. Parties exempt from the refund policy include, dealers, distributors, or any third party in a distribution chain who purchases product for resale. Online order cancellation policy

Cygnett endeavour to get your product out to you as quickly as possible so unfortunately we don’t hold products for any period of time. This is good if you want to your item quickly, but bad news if you accidentally ordered the wrong thing. But don’t worry, you can return the product immediately after you received it if you are dissatisfied. Just look in our returns policy for the simple directions to getting a full refund on the product.

Shipping policy

  • Orders placed will be processed as soon as possible allowing us to ship out quickly.
  • Unfortunately we cannot ship to PO Box addresses.
  • Cygnett transport service only delivers on business days (Monday to Friday and excluding holidays)
  • It certain circumstances, you may have multiple deliveries for different items on the same order. You’ll be informed of what have been dispatched to you on the confirmation email.
  • If we won’t be able to fulfill your item order within 2 weeks, we will refund your purchase not yet delivered.
  • Cygnett endeavor to be as transparent as we possibly can with applicable taxes and duties, depending on your country of residence you may be imposed with import duties and/or VAT (Value Added Taxes) on shipments from outside your country. You are responsible for paying any taxes, duties and/or customs fees charged by your governent.
  • Some regions may incur delays clearing customs.

  • Shipping times 

    Standard shipping time is about 10-15 working days. No guarantee’s during holiday events.

    Import Tax

    Items shipped to the you may incur import duties as follows,

    • USA: Orders totalling more than $150USD will incur state taxes.
    • UK: Orders totalling more than than ₤15GBP will incur VAT.
    • Canada: Orders totalling more than $20USD will incur 13% tax.

    Warranty Policy

    WHAT IS COVERED

    All parts defective in material and workmanship. Defects that have resulted from improper or unreasonable use or maintenance, accident, excess moisture, insects, improper packing, lightning, power surges, or unauthorized tampering, alteration or modification are not covered.

    LIMITATION ON LIABILITY

    WHERE PERMITTED, THE PROVISIONS OF THIS LIMITED WARRANTY ARE IN LIEU OF ANY OTHER WRITTEN WARRANTY, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, WRITTEN OR ORAL, INCLUDING ANY WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. Notwithstanding the above, where applicable, if you qualify as a "consumer" under the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, then you may be entitled to any implied warranties allowed by law for the period of the express Limited Warranty as set forth below. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied Limited Warranty lasts, so the above limitation may not apply to you.

    FOR HOW LONG

    Products purchased directly from Cygnett offer a Limited Warranty that lasts two year from the purchase date for electronic products, systems, and powered speaker components, accessories, and other products not listed here unless specified in the Owner's Guide. Cygnett's warranty policy can be superseded by an individual retailers terms and conditions as set out by their independent warranty policies.


    WHAT CYGNETT WILL DO

    Cygnett will, at their sole option, repair or replace any defective parts within a reasonable period of time and free of charge.

    WHAT CYGNETT WILL NOT DO

    Pay shipping or transportation charges from you to Cygnett or Your Electronic Warehouse.

    WHAT YOU MUST DO TO OBTAIN LIMITED WARRANTY SERVICE

    Return product with proof of purchase from an authorized Cygnett dealer directly to Cygnett Pty Ltd. If you elect to return the product directly to Cygnett Pty Ltd, the following procedures must be followed:
    Contact Cygnett Pty Ltd (within Australia) 03 9429 2552 for return authorization number, and specific return and shipping instructions which will include but may not be limited to properly packing the product in the original carton for shipping. If you need a new carton, contact Cygnett Pty Ltd for free packing material and box. Cartons not bearing a return authorization number will be refused.

    Or return product with proof of purchase from an authorized Cygnett dealer to a Cygnett Service Agency. 

    EXCLUSIVE REMEDY

    This Limited Warranty is fully transferable provided that the current owner furnishes the original proof of purchase from an authorized Cygnett dealer. THE MAXIMUM LIABILITY OF CYGNETT SHALL NOT EXCEED THE ACTUAL PURCHASE PRICE PAID BY YOU FOR THE PRODUCT. IN NO EVENT SHALL CYGNETT BE LIABLE FOR SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR INDIRECT DAMAGES. Some places do not allow limitations on the exclusion or limitation of relief, special, incidental, consequential or indirect damages, or the limitation of liability to specified amounts, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you.

    OTHER CONDITIONS

    This Limited Warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from country to country or state to state. This Limited Warranty is void if the label bearing the serial number has been removed or defaced or if the product is not purchased from an authorized reseller.

    Your Limited Warranty rights are not diminished if you do not complete and return the product registration form or complete and submit the online product registration form. Cygnett Pty Ltd thanks you for your Cygnett product purchase. We hope it will give you years of satisfaction.
